Who we are

About us

COSEC Ministries International (Communion of Saints Evangelical Church) was established twenty-one years ago in response to the need for a church with a strong spiritual background. With the pressures of modern life faced by many Christians, it was seen as a safe haven and refuge.

From it’s humble beginning as a small group fellowshipping in the living room of the General Overseer, it has grown internationally with a number of branches spanning over two continents. The congregation is diverse with people of different ages and outlooks, joining together to worship God.

The church believes in the Bible as the inerrant (Error Free) word of God and a true revelation of Jesus Christ as the son of God who came in the flesh to the world to save sinners by his death on the cross.

We believe that all people are loved by God who desires to save us through the death of His Son Jesus Christ that we may all share in his eternal life. We also believe that all have sinned and are in need of the salvation offered to by God.

OUR VISION

“To build an End-Time Church of faithful believers committed in heart and purpose to the Kingdom of God through teaching, preaching, building and making disciples to send them out into the world”

We will achieve this by:

Preach conversion to Salvation (John 3:1-6)

Teach God’s Kingdom and Spiritual doctrines (Matt 10:6,7)

Stipulate and encourage Kingdom lifestyle (Matt 5:2-12)

Make Disciples of believers to and send them out (Matt 28:19,20) (Matt 16:24-26)

COSEC Lagos and Ibadan branch

The move to open branches in Nigeria as quoted by our father in the Lord Pastor G.O Henry Lawanson was ‘Divinely authorised by God’. Following the revelation that COSEC Ministries will have many branches (across the world) this vision was brought to life by the opening of COSEC Lagos.

Lagos branch know as ‘The arena of Miracles’ opened in January 2006. This year we will be celebrating 15 glorious years of God’s faithfulness in this branch.

After moving to our new building in 2013. Cosec Lagos, The Arena of Miracles, is undergoing an expansion project to accommodate our ever growing congregation. Lagos branch is led by Pastor Moses.

Ibadan branch know as ‘The House of Champions’ has been opened since January 2008. This year we will be celebrating our 13th year. To the glory of God, the ‘House of Champions’ has been growing. Ibadan branch is led by Pastor Seun Ogunade. The Area pastor for both branches is Pastor Emmanuel Olojo.

Lagos and Ibadan branch have an ongoing community programme to assist those in need through our Ministry of Help charity organisation. This community programme takes place every first Sunday of the month - in Lagos and the last Sunday of the month - in Ibadan.

In addition to this, we hold a Christmas feast every Christmas Day in both branches for those in need.

We give God all the glory for His revelation that is coming true through our Nigeria branches.

We are expectant that God will open many doors for us in Nigeria and all across the world.

Bible passage of day

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
